| DAILY ISSUE In Today’s Masters in Trading: Live  | What’s Moving the Markets This Week? | - “Liberation Day” Tariffs: After teasing reciprocal tariffs last month, President Trump is finally set to roll out a series of tariffs on all countries he claims carry large trade imbalances with the U.S. on April 2nd – or what Trump has dubbed “Liberation Day.” While details remain vague, April 2 is also significant for another reason… That’s when exemptions on goods from Trump’s 25% tariffs on imports from Canada and Mexico are set to expire.
- New Jobs Numbers Are Almost Here: The U.S. Nonfarm Payrolls (NFP) report for March will give us our next big indication of the job market’s strength heading into April. Expect Wall Street to look for any longer-term signs of slowing job growth amid the latest inflation-led market panic.
 | | March delivered one of the worst sell-offs since 2022, with major indexes plunging as investors fled to safe havens like gold. And last week’s trading session isn’t exactly inspiring a lot of investor confidence… Stocks closed the month with another sharp decline amid growing concerns over trade policy and inflation. With markets finally moving, we need to establish new "lines in the sand" to maintain our exposure – and that’s true whether we're betting on movement or direction.
