Is the BBC biased?

Resignation of chairman has reignited claims of political favouritism

Good evening,

The BBC Charter sets out four public purposes, the first of which is "to provide impartial news and information to help people understand and engage with the world around them".

But whether the broadcaster is living up to that rule is now under debate once again, as chair Richard Sharp departs amid accusations of political bias.
