The 10-year hit 4.8% this week. |
I think it cracks 5, maybe runs to 5.2. When it does, everybody on TV is going to be foaming at the mouth, and I'm going to love it. |
Not because I'm bearish. |
I don't care about direction and I never have. I'm going to love it because a panic like that reprices every option on the board at once, and there's a way to get paid by that repricing that most traders have never been shown. |
The VIX closed Friday at 14.53, which is the market telling you nothing's coming. |
Skew, what the market charges for far-out protection, just shot to the top of its range, which is somebody big paying up anyway. |
I trust the guy spending money over the gauge that isn't. |
I've been trading that repricing for years, inside my paid membership only. |
This weekend, for the first time, I'm opening it up, with the training behind it, and I'm not going to try to explain the whole thing in an email. |

The Fed meets September 16 and as of Friday it's a coin flip on a hike. That's the first of the events I trade for, and all of them land in the next 90 days. You can be in the room for every 1 of them. |
