| Anthropic’s New $15 Billion Move Bloomberg says Anthropic is about to lock in a $15 billion credit line. That's 50% more than the company originally sought… Because the world's biggest banks fought each other to get in. Here's how to claim your Anthropic Pre-IPO stake - before its filing drops. Morgan Stanley is leading the deal. Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan and Citigroup hold prominent roles. Barclays, Wells Fargo, Bank of America, Deutsche Bank, UBS and a dozen more round out the group. Why would 20 banks scramble over a credit line? Because in the syndicated loan market, the banks that put up the most capital expect the biggest roles in what comes next. And what comes next is the IPO. The four banks at the top of this credit line (Morgan Stanley, Goldman, JPMorgan and Citi) are the same four leading Anthropic's public offering. SpaceX did the exact same thing. It expanded its credit line from $1.5 billion to $5 billion in May, roughly one month before its record-breaking debut. Anthropic just made the same move, three times bigger. The prospectus is expected right after Labor Day, which is Monday. The listing could follow as soon as late September.
