Marc Chaikin Issues Rare Buy Alert on Elon Musk Supplier Wall Street legend Marc Chaikin and Jeff Brown – the former tech executive who picked Nvidia 10 years ago – just issued an urgent buy alert. The Power Gauge Finds Winning Stocks Outside Tech I'm talking about Casey's General Stores (CASY). Casey's is a chain of around 3,000 convenience stores located in 19 states across the U.S. Two-thirds of those stores are in areas with fewer than 20,000 residents. It sells both prepackaged and prepared hot food, drinks, and other items you'd normally find at a convenience store. Of course, Casey's also sells fuel at many of its locations. As I mentioned, Casey's stock is doing quite well lately... At market close on June 9, Casey's had a solid 37% year-to-date gain. That evening, the company reported its full fiscal-year results...  This report blew away investors' expectations. Casey's net income grew 31% over the fiscal year. And it beat its quarterly earnings per share ("EPS") expectations of $3.32 by a staggering $1.05. As you might expect, the stock surged. And by the end of the next trading day, it sat on a single-day gain of 20%. Investors took profits after that share-price spike – and the stock cooled off through the end of June. But Casey's stock is already on the rise again... You can see this action in the chart here... As you can see, Casey's gets a "bullish" rating from our system. That means there's a good chance it will continue to outperform the broad market. And not just the broad market – we can also compare it with the Nasdaq 100 Index.  We track the Nasdaq 100 through the Invesco QQQ Trust (QQQ). Year to date, QQQ is only up 18%... While CASY has more than doubled that return.   In short, Casey's isn't a big-name tech stock. It's a convenience-store chain that hype-driven investors may overlook in the buzz around AI stocks.
