Markets sit at all-time highs while volatility keeps climbing. |
That combination is not supposed to happen. |
In the last three years, only four short windows have shown volatility this high, and none of them came with the market pinned near a record. Yesterday I looked at the data and said out loud that I have never seen this before. Neither have you, because until now it had not happened. |
There is a real anomaly buried inside volatility right now, and where there is an anomaly there is a trade. I put one on live in front of the room this morning, the kind of setup you will not find in 15 or 20 years of history. |
Yesterday’s version used naked premium and serious margin, which is not where most people should start. So today I am building the retail-friendly version, the same idea with defined risk you can run in a normal account. |
