JOIN US HERE! _________________________________________________   Don’t Get Faked Out: The Overnight Move That’s Making Day, Swing Trading Tough  Stocks are down again slightly as we begin the first day of the second quarter, but nothing close to like what we saw Monday.  Something important in regard to day and swing trading right now, is we’re seeing the biggest moves happen overnight. And then the market will open in the morning and largely churn sideways the rest of the day.  That of course makes day and swing trading very hard, and the market’s trying to find balance right now. And hopefully we’ll get that after tomorrow’s big 3 p.m. ET tariffs announcement from the White House. The bond market (TLT) is still on the rise as the flight to quality continues. Gold is also still on the rise and getting overbought. I would not initiate new positions until it comes back to the eight-day exponential moving average.  Keep an eye on the 200-day moving average for Bitcoin. If it starts coming back up, that could mean stocks are about to rebound.  Crude oil is rising, and once we pass the $73 level, I’ll start looking for shorts in cruise ships, airlines and transports.  Finally, we have three reports coming this morning that can move markets, so I would not open any positions before 10 a.m. ET.
