TSMC's $100 billion: Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. plans to invest $100 billion in chip plants in the US over the next four years, the company announced Monday at an event at the White House alongside President Donald Trump.

Canadians' distaste: A majority of Canadian consumers say they've pulled back on buying US-made products and are shopping less on Amazon since Trump escalated his threats against Canada. Two-thirds of those surveyed said they bought fewer American items from stores in past weeks, with 55% ordering less from Amazon. 

A new firm from the Solitaire app's co-founder: Turkish gaming developer Akin Babayigit, a co-founder of the studio Tripledot, has formed an investment firm to back companies making mobile games, according to people familiar with the matter and documents viewed by Bloomberg. The firm is called Arcadia Gaming Advisors, and the London-based entrepreneur is said to have raised $100 million for an initial fund.

Revalued

Anthropic has closed a $3.5 billion funding round at a valuation of $61.5 billion, cementing its place as one of the world's largest startups. The higher valuation, which includes the new capital raised, comes as Anthropic's business is growing quickly. Late last year, the company's annual revenue run rate was about $1 billion, according to a person familiar with the matter. So far this year, that number has increased by 30%, said the person.
