This is still the biggest weekend for spending, though: Between Thanksgiving and Cyber Monday, a record 183.4 million consumers plan to shop in store and online, according to the National Retail Federation. But the way we’re spending looks a lot different than years past. Rather than face long lines at the mall, nearly half (48%) of consumers are looking to increase their online spending from last year. And instead of pulling out their plastic, more consumers than ever are taking advantage of digital payment methods.
