GDP Dips, Cava Rips and 1 Stock for Today With Profit Targets

If you’re not aware, my wife and I had our first baby, and we’re checking out of the hospital this afternoon! I can’t thank everyone enough for the well wishes.  As for the markets, GDP came in on the soft side this morning but within the expected range.  The 1.3% number is about 65% lower than last quarter. That tells us loud and clear that the economy is slowing — and hopefully inflation along with it.  Wall Street, as always, makes almost no sense… I’ve been talking about Cava (CAVA) for a while now because I absolutely love this restaurant chain, and the stock. I’ve been a big-time bull on it all year, and the company reported super strong earnings Tuesday after the bell… Only to fall 7% the very next morning, which makes no sense. I called it a “buy the dip opportunity if I’ve ever seen one” in my Telegram channel Wednesday morning.  And wouldn’t you know, shares went on to rise about $13 to fill the gap higher, and now it’s up over 16% the past week, including more than 5% already today! I hope you guys bought that dip — I’m really happy to see it get the buying it deserves after that big earnings beat. In Monday’s predictions, I mentioned CAVA as a long, and UiPath (PATH) and Salesforce (CRM) as shorts for this week.  Today, PATH took a 35% dive while CRM is down over 20% — Christmas has come early! So it’s already been an amazing week in trading, and there’s more to come today with Costco (COST) and Dell (DELL) — I’m long DELL — reporting after the bell.  Here’s a quick stock pick to go with that DELL long: Grupo Financiero Galicia (GGAL) is on a big breakout. As of 11:30 a.m. ET, it’s trading at $36.35 a share.  I have two profit targets set for it at $38.10, and $39.04.
