China shuns Hollywood: Beijing said it would reduce the number of American-made films that can be imported into China, a new front in its escalating trade clash with the US. However, the Chinese market was already of limited importance to Hollywood, as the number of releases approved by Beijing has declined from a 2018 peak.

Poland embraces Temu: The most visited e-commerce platform in Poland this March was Temu, owned by Chinese giant PDD Holdings. It had 18.1 million users, ousting local marketplace Allegro.

Console prices going up: Sony and Nintendo are likely to increase console prices due to the tariffs, with Bloomberg Intelligence's base-case scenario seeing a 30% hike.
