NVIDIA Unveils Isaac GROOT N1 Model

The foundational model GROOT N1 incorporates dual thinking (fast and slow models) to mimic human cognitive processes, enhancing robot functionality and decision-making.

ARK Invest Funds Apptronik to Boost Humanoid Robotics Innovation

ARK Invest joined a $403 million Series A funding round for Apptronik, a Texas-based humanoid robotics company, to accelerate the production of its flagship robot, Apollo, designed for industrial tasks. The funding aims to address labor shortages and automation challenges in manufacturing and logistics industries by integrating advanced AI with robotics. The funding round was announced on Tuesday, January 18. Apptronik was founded in 2016 as a spin-off from the University of Texas. The funding round was oversubscribed and attracted high-profile investors like Mercedes-Benz, Google, and Japan Post Capital.
