Available via Google AI Studio, it will soon integrate into Gemini Advanced and Google Cloud's Vertex AI, positioning itself as a top competitor to GPT-4.5 and Claude 3.7 Sonnet.

JP Morgan: Yield Bearing Stablecoins To Explode

Stablecoins are going mainstream, with yield-bearing stablecoins—which pay interest to holders—expected to surge, per JP Morgan. Currently 6% of the market, they could grow to 50% as Wall Street and Big Tech enter. Unlike USDC and USDT, which retain yield, BlackRock’s BUIDL distributes returns but remains institution-only to avoid security classification.

If public yield-bearing stablecoins emerge, regulation will increase. As rules become clearer, firms like Meta could leverage stablecoins for network effects, challenging traditional finance.

Regulatory bodies will forever play catch-up as technology advances

As crypto, blockchain, and AI advance, governments struggle to maintain control. Decentralized systems are disrupting traditional regulation, and attempts to slow innovation often accelerate it instead.

Even pro-crypto officials may enact anti-crypto policies, but true tech enthusiasts oppose excessive regulation. Governments are stuck playing catch-up, unable to control millions of evolving technologies. This shift signals the decline of traditional governance and the rise of decentralized economies.
