My Top Picks of the Week as Tariff Fears Upend the Market to Kick Things Off  Hey, Graham Lindman here… The market open this morning was pretty brutal after a weekend of tariff news that was especially harsh on crypto, with a record amount of Ethereum being dumped.   Chip stocks are also seeing quite a bit of pain on this news, along with many of the companies who do a lot of business with China, Canada and Mexico.  But then came news this morning Trump will pause the 25% tariffs on goods coming from Mexico for one month, and stocks rebounded nicely.  We have another round of mega-cap stocks set to report earnings this week, with Google parent Alphabet (GOOG; GOOGL) on deck for Tuesday and Amazon (AMZN) up on Thursday, to name a couple.  I’ll probably have a free trade idea for Amazon on Thursday during Opening Playbook at 10 a.m. ET! We also have Jobless Claims on Thursday, and the Employment Situation on Friday as the two biggest economic reports this week for my money.  🚨Monday Picks 🚨 Even with the big opening dip, some stocks are catching my eye right now…   ✅ Meta Platforms (META) — riding the Trump wave. ✅ Arthur J. Gallagher (AJG) — very strong swing right now. ✅ Broadcom (AVGO) — looks like the strongest chip stock. ✅ Gold (GLD) — all time highs making way for MORE all time highs.
