EUR/USD: Battling to recover the 1.0600 threshold
 
The EUR/USD pair recovered from an intraday low of 1.0532 to end the day with modest gains in the 1.0600 region. The US Dollar appreciated at the beginning of the week as inflation-related concerns from last week led the way. However, a better market mood following London's opening helped the pair bounce, with the recovery extending up to 1.0619 in the American session. However, as US stock indexes trimmed early gains, the Dollar found room to recover some ground.
