That’s when I had a realization that completely changed how I trade. I realized if I systematically ranked and scored the unusual options volume coming across the wire, I’d get something retail traders simply don’t have… A window into what the smart money was doing in real time. The edge we get from tools like the UOA Scanner is essential for us right now. The market that looked “stable” only weeks ago suddenly feels very different amid escalating Iran-U.S. tensions. Institutions are repositioning away from risk in droves. And this is exactly the environment where traditional long-term portfolios struggle the most — when volatility expands overnight.
