The $TRUMP memecoin, which financially benefits Donald Trump, is okay with Justin Sun using exchange funds for dinner. ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏

| | | | $TRUMP AND HTX
Donald Trump is once again inviting his memecoin supporters to have dinner with him. The official X account for $TRUMP has started teasing which token holders are the largest holders registering for the event. |
|
| |
At the top of this list is "Sun," who is, of course, Justin Sun, the perennial crypto entrepreneur who leads HTX. Speaking of HTX, that's who controls the 8NBEbxLknGv5aRYefFrW2qFXoDZyi9fSHJNiJRvEcMBE address that Sun is using for this dinner. As we've remarked before, that's not a personal address of Sun's; it's an exchange address that's included in the HTX proof of reserves. |
|
| | |
That would be the same exchange that offers you "8-100% APY" on TRUMP through HTX Earn. This is the same HTX that offered huge incentives to get users to deposit and trade TRUMP on HTX. Are we supposed to believe that Sun is only using his personal $TRUMP tokens from this official HTX address for this promotion? Or that it's acceptable for Sun to use customer deposits for him to get this preferential access to the president? Presumably, the memecoin, which offers dinner with the "leader of the free world" is doing at least a tiny bit of due diligence. Therefore, it follows that they're aware that HTX is doing this and have decided it's acceptable. I mean, if the Trump SEC couldn't find anything suspicious about Sun, then maybe neither can the president's due diligence team.

Maybe this guy is less thoughtful than we normally expect from a president. |

Only one of these presidential administrations is down at this point, and it may or may not be the one that keeps having dinner with Justin Sun. |
