Here's what I'm looking at: institutions just dropped 54,000 put contracts on SPY in two trades. Gold got de-leveraged — down nearly 5% in a single session. PPI just came in at its hottest reading since September 2023. Powell went hawkish. Rate cuts aren't priced above 50% probability until December.
This is not a market you navigate with RSI or moving averages.
The traders who come out ahead are the ones who understand what's happening beneath the surface. Where the real pressure is building. Where the cracks are forming. Which names could still move to the upside despite the carnage.
