In Today’s Masters in Trading: Live The race to lead the Fed has a clear winner. And it’s likely to trigger one of the biggest shake-ups to the nation’s central bank in decades. Kevin Warsh, former Federal Reserve Governor, has been nominated by President Trump to lead the U.S. central bank — and markets are already reacting to what that implies. Disillusionment with the Fed catapulted Warsh to the lead. And now Warsh’s nomination confirms something I put on your radar a couple of weeks ago. His past career – and what we know about his current view on the Fed – show us he’s not afraid to shake up the status quo. Warsh has long argued that money in circulation and balance-sheet policy matter more than interest rates when it comes to inflation and asset prices. In other words, liquidity — not just the fed funds rate — is the dominant, regime-defining variable. A Fed under Warsh will likely continue the encouraging developments we’ve seen recently. The Fed is already transitioning away from outright balance-sheet contraction toward a more neutral liquidity stance — something we haven’t seen since 2019. The quantitative tightening program we saw take off last year was the most aggressive in decades. That pressure is easing. Which means the question for traders isn’t “What will rates do from here?” It’s “Is liquidity expanding or contracting?” To answer that consistently, I built a simple tool to track net liquidity simply and consistently by monitoring three inputs. The output? It flashes weekly liquidity impulse that show whether liquidity is expanding or contracting. Now, I want to make sure Masters in Trading members have the ability to leverage this tool as the Fed’s regime shift happens in real time. So join me for today’s episode of Masters in Trading LIVE at 11 AM EST , where I’ll show you the key moves I’m watching from the Fed – and how to access the simple tool I’ve built.
