Apple Vision Pro 2

Hey everyone, it's Mark. Apple is readying two new Vision Pro headsets, but glasses have become a bigger goal in the long run. Also: The company prepares an iPadOS overhaul to make the tablet more like a Mac and Trump grants Apple a major win by exempting iPhones made in China from giant tariffs.

When Apple Inc. shook up leadership of Siri a few weeks ago, the news rightfully overshadowed a parallel development: the breakup of the Vision Products Group, the team that built the Vision Pro headset. 

The company stripped responsibility of Siri from AI chief John Giannandrea, giving leadership of the voice assistant to Mike Rockwell, who had been in charge of VPG. That group was a bit unique within Apple's operating structure, given that it included its own hardware engineering, software, services and product management teams — all answering to Rockwell.
