The new Pets.com?

That’s what it felt like, anyway…

February 28, 2025

Yesterday, in the year of our Lord 2025, on the 27th day of the month of February, I bought three contracts on Pets.com.

No… wait…

That didn’t happen.

But that’s kind of what it felt like as I fired up TradingView to buy Call options on NIO.

Let me rewind a bit…

You might remember Nio as one of the electric car manufacturers that exploded in value during the EV craze in the early days of the COVID 19 pandemic.

At one point, NIO’s value ballooned up to $65 a share.

But since then? Not a pretty picture…

NIO’s value has plummeted to under $5 a share and is largely forgotten among the wreckage of the EV graveyard alongside RIVN and WKHS.

So what could possibly have convinced me to dive into the ticker with Call options yesterday afternoon?

Well, only one thing… the same tool I’ve been raving about for weeks now. The Wave Indicator:

For some reason, I thought of NIO’s stock and decided to look how it was doing, and the Wave Indicator had JUST signaled a call.

So I got in.

Because even though I wouldn’t touch NIO with a 10-foot pole if I was building a stock portfolio, the Wave Indicator has been 87% accurate in predicting a positive outcome on short-term options moves.

And I trust it.

So even though NIO is down a bit this morning, I’m fully confident that by the end of March, when this Call Option comes due, I will have had a chance to exit with a gain.

Maybe I won’t! Obviously wins aren’t guaranteed. But I have full faith in the Wave Indicator.

I bought the 28 March $5.50 Call, by the way, if you want to take a trip to the past and trade some NIO with me.

And last thing: I got to hop on with Alex today to dissect the top stocks of the day with the Wave Indicator, covering tickers like WMT, MO, JPM, DIS, PG, and more!

To your prosperity,
