Introducing NFT Compare by Origin Protocol

Data by Origin: NFT Compare

Since launching Origin Story marketplaces, we’ve empowered numerous NFT projects with detailed analytics, branded marketplaces, aggregated data, and more. We’ve also helped bring communities closer together by showcasing notable holders, floor prices, and collector distributions directly on partner marketplaces.

Today, we’re thrilled to launch our newest tool: NFT Compare, which lets collectors view side-by-side data to analyze collection volumes, prices, and sales.

Uniquely, NFT Compare allows users to view holder overlap between collections, letting investors see which holders within a collection also hold other NFTs. For the first time, collectors can easily view correlations between holders of one collection and holders of another.

How to Use NFT Compare

All it takes is a few clicks to compare. First, go to compare.story.xyz. Once there, you’ll see a dashboard with side-by-side data. Feel free to toggle between a combined view and a side-by-side view. While both settings provide valuable analytics features, the different views show various data points.

Side-by-side data shows cumulative volume, current floor price, and 24 hour volume for each respective collection at the top of the dashboard. Following this data, users can find sales, average price, and volume per day. Towards the bottom of the side-by-side view, users can see holder analytics such as notable holders, holder distributions, and various other holder statistics.

In the combined view mode, users can see the same average price, sales, and volume data in combined charts with both collections. Users can also view holder overlap under this setting, showing the percentage and number of holders that own both NFTs being compared.

Origin Story Marketplaces and Analytics

Origin Story creates the infrastructure necessary for collectors, real-estate investors, music fans, and beyond to venture into web3. We continually iterate on useful analytics features geared towards communities, and NFT Compare is our first expansion into NFT data past our partner collections.

By expanding our NFT tools, our partners can find new ways to utilize tokenization. We’ve been hard at work to help creators add more utility to their NFT collections and communities. Outside of NFT Compare, Origin Story recently launched on Polygon, added token-gated access support, and sold the first home via NFT marketplace.

FAQs

Where is the NFT data sourced from?

NFT Compare leverages Origin’s NFT Intelligence Platform (NIP). All data is pulled from Ethereum’s blockchain, updating in real time as NFTs are transferred between wallets.

What is NFT holder overlap?

NFT holder overlap shows the amount of holders in an NFT collection that also own another NFT collection. For example, the holder overlap tool can show how many Pudgy Penguin holders also own a Lil Pudgy.

How can I use the NFT Compare?

You can use NFT Compare at any time by visiting compare.story.xyz.
