The most recent poll of swing state voters by Bloomberg News/Morning Consult shows Kamala Harris with a razor-thin lead in the tight 2024 presidential race. The results suggest that Harris is benefiting from a campaign that focuses on her economic agenda, all but neutralizing Donald Trump's long-held advantage on the issue.

As the campaign goes into its final sprint, if Harris' support remains at 50% or higher in key swing states, Trump will have to bring new likely voters into the electorate in order to overtake her. As one Morning Consult analyst points out, the former president has successfully done just that in the past: "Donald Trump's political magic, when he's been on the ballot, is to bring in voters from the periphery who may not be in likely voter samples."
